Honours Project - WABI SABI
To design an interior environment on an existing site, taking control of all decision making, from the choice of site, through to detailed design and presentation. I chose to create a space that supports the mental health of the community.
Site Analysis
Conduct a detailed analysis looking at as many aspects of the existing site as you can. Produce a detailed report and a set of orthographic drawings of the existing site, along with a simple model of the site.
IKEA - Live Brief
To produce conceptual designs based on the site survey and existing layout of the area, with a focus on the future home and new innovative ways of living. You are to create an innovative concept for the home plan at IKEA Warrington. You will need to complete a full site survey and produce detailed plans and elevations. Mood, theme and lifestyle boards need to be completed showing your vision of the proposed designs as well as flow and space planning. Final design proposals include rendered images, and detailed presentation for the client.
